We appointed ECA as our Energy Consultants in December and by the following January they had saved 55.49% on the renewal of a gas contract and 19.18% on an electricity contract. Silver Healthcare are a care home provider with 4 homes, we had previously disputed invoices with our energy supplier going back over 4 years. The billing involved almost 350 credits and re-credits and we were unable to resolve despite employing the services of another energy consultant. ECA Business Energy got involved and completed a full review of all the billing, identifying numerous issues including incorrect contract rates, duplicated billing, VAT/CCL overcharges, late payment charges, incorrect statement of account, incorrect meter reads and incorrect non energy charges. Working alongside us on an agreed strategy ECA Business Energy successfully reduced the outstanding amount by over 60% and helped negotiate a payment plan with the supplier.

Door Deals are one of the Uk’s leading independent online timber door retailers, stocking a complete range of internal and external doors. We had an issue with our gas supplier following on from moving in to new premises. The supplier failed to respond to our communications and we were issued with bills on extortionate amounts and also a bill for a supply that was nothing to do with us. Our current broker were unable to resolve our issues and it looked likely we may have had to resort to legal action, this issue was taking up a vast amount of our time and causing huge distress to us as a business. That’s when we met ECA Business Energy, they quickly understood the situation and built an extremely strong case to put to the supplier on our behalf, using their experience of over 30 years in the industry to build a factual argument. The result of their work was a reduction in the bill of over 60% and also resolving the issue with the invoice that was nothing to do with us. We cannot thank them enough for their efforts and would highly recommend them to anyone.
After many ongoing billing issues with our original water provider we decided to investigate the possibility of moving supplier due to deregulation of the market. Independent repairer Brandon ARC have recently achieved carbon neutral status in accordance with PAS2060 through their partnership with ECA Business Energy.
