Wayleave Compensation Claims are payments for electricity power lines, poles/towers, or substations on your land.
If the National Grid or your local electricity Distribution Network Operator (DNO) have power lines, poles or substations on ground or sites owned by your business, you could be entitled to compensation in the form of a Wayleave payment.
A Wayleave is a contractual agreement between a landowner or landlord and National Grid, DNO or Telecoms provider.
The landowner grants the network provider a licence for the right to access land and/or property, to install and/or maintain electronic equipment and cabling.
Your business could be entitled to a retrospective refund and an ongoing Wayleave payment if a Wayleave payment has not been agreed, has lapsed, has been forgotten, or if network assets have not been fully included.
